The Farmer’s MarCat and Craft Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at the Student Center patio.  The Kentucky Proud Farmers will be selling fresh, locally grown produce and crafts in hopes of informing students and the community of the importance of living a sustainable lifestyle.  The event is presented by the Student Activities Board. Congratulations to Women’s Tennis player and scholar Grace Trimble for being named a 2014 Truman Scholar!  She will receive $30,000 to conduct graduate work in areas of public service. Grace, the only Truman recipient this year from Kentucky, is the 13th UK student to receive the honor from the Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation.
